Site Purpose:

Virtual gathering place for family members. This will include updates on family members, pedigree charts, and special interests in blog, video and audio form.

Target audience:

My family. I envision a site that can be used to keep my family updated with pictures, stories and basic things happening.

Male and Female Personas:

• Izaak – we can post his latest works, updated info on what and how he is doing. Male, single, early twenties, likes drawing, scifi, college student, no income
• Maddie – we can post her latest accomplishments, goals or decisions she and Pat are making or have made. Female, married, early twenties, college students, no kids yet, no income, cooking, medical, possible locations to live
• Lindsey and Jazmyn – Current update on school and activities. Female, early teens, dance, theater, no income
• Extended family on both the Becker and Peterson sides – They can see what our family is up too. They can also post about their family and how each are doing. It can almost be like a mobile scrap book or blog.

Scenario List:

• Would we be able to see images from vacations (in a blog post or gallery consisting all other images)?
• Would we be able to share images (or put images in a gallery) of our family (immediate and extended) via the website?
• Would we be able to plan things (activities/vacations) via the website, like on a calendar?
• Would we be able to share FHE ideas with each other on a specific page or blogpost area?
• Would we be able to see some family history data/content? So the whole family can track the progress.
• Will someone have the overall responsibility of reviewing the information and updating the website regularly? Whose contact information will you put on it?
• How often do you think guests will use and post to the website?
• Have you come up with a special/title name to entice everyone to the website?
• What are the top key phrases someone would use to find the website in a search engine?
• What devices will the website be able to support? (iphone, ipad, etc.)
